A guy from Japan ended up in Soviet captivity and later drew pictures with descriptions that depicted his life in captivity. Among them is this one:


Just imagine – the guy participated in mass killings, rapes, ate British prisoners, and cut off the heads of captives just for fun, then went to Ukraine, impregnated a woman (possibly more than one), and returned home, where he started a family and lived comfortably and with respect until old age, all so that his son could publish his memoirs. What a wonderful world we live in.

Japanese prisoner of war:
Has many friends of all nationalities.
Evokes pity everywhere, receives gifts even from guards.
Sleeps with Natashas left and right.
Steals everything without consequences.
Returns as a hero, almost healthy, somehow even got buffed.
Russian citizen:
Sits alone, being justly confident that he is surrounded by unworthy company.
Looks like 25, but feels like 100.
Stole bread - spent a year in jail.
Went to the army, came back with two cases of pneumonia and an ulcer.
Random "hachi" beat him up in his own neighborhood.
Died at 60; working in a factory negatively affects life expectancy
