The regulations will be finalized before the tournament starts. The following changes are currently being considered: 1. Specifically: one spot in the Open Final Bracket (OFB) must be reserved for the winner of the Novice bracket, provided they have a rating of 1750+. This means that there will be one fewer OFB slot. However, if the Novice does not meet the rating requirement, nothing will change for the OFB. The deadline for this is before the playoff matches (the number of playoff pairs will depend on the Novice). 2. We are considering whether to abandon the Swiss Master system during the draw and Buchholz calculation. The situation that arose in the previous OFB showed some drawbacks of the program, and there are other issues (for example, it is important for the program to know the color – it is a chess program, but for us, the color in the draw has not been important for a long time). We are considering doing everything manually, as skd did in the past. This is not yet certain; we are still thinking about it. ffoolabezlp

This is not mandatory; I simply didn't include the quota initially, but it will be there. The main thing is that there is a rating requirement :rolleyes:
