The Mentor on the map is functional.

I apologize for the unclear way I expressed my thoughts. The Mentor is functional, in a technical sense. In terms of gameplay, it's placed in a very inconvenient location. Did you consider how many days it takes for a hero to reach it and return, and what level the hero will be when they arrive? In the new version, with the city portal, the travel time will be reduced by half, making it somewhat more acceptable. Why can't we allow access to the Mentor from the first city?
