Yes, I can't help but agree with that interpretation. But they could have created a separate setting instead of messing with the existing one. And yes, I heard a lot about the blue Will Smith even before the movie came out; everyone was making fun of it. But as for me... I haven't watched it and won't judge, but I don't understand the outrage; it's far from the worst option.
