But the issue with hacking the game to add specific heroes to the tavern remains :) I wonder if this hack can be detected by some program from the organizers or a sniffer? Maybe someone could check it out? :)

I thought you had already managed it... But no! :( Let's try a different approach... :D

Iron, the desired hero will appear in the tavern, at worst, it will cost you 2500 gold, which isn't critical... Why hack the save file for this?
