Yes, let everyone watch anime. Not all men are active alpha males; some are genuinely okay with running around their women, fulfilling all their desires, and obeying them in everything. There are actually quite a few of them, even among successful men. BUT. If you're a passive man, you shouldn't flaunt it, in my opinion.
Anime is actually a cool thing. But not cool enough to put it on your profile picture. You wouldn't put pornography or erotica on your profile picture, would you? That's the first thing.
Secondly, anime is like Dota. The problem isn't the content itself, but the people who consume it. Dota is an AMAZING game, but it's impossible to play because of the abundance of trashy players.
The same goes for anime. I happened to stumble upon 2ch and related forums in my teens and saw some incredibly inhumane stuff from guys with anime profile pictures. Since then, I've had the conviction that an anime-loving guy = a LOSER.

You don't have any rights in any country in the world, especially in developed ones. All you're entitled to is a final squawk in court before you go to prison. At least in Russia, they'll just fine you if it's a simple insult to a government official, even if it's the universally beloved president.
So, how many titles have you watched? If it's less than three hundred, you shouldn't even try to evaluate anything; there are a lot of these "experts" who have just thawed out in the spring.
