Perhaps, due to these "manipulations" with the game, your save file was somehow corrupted. I think it would be easier to just replay it and not bother. The campaign is good, so I don't think replaying a mission will be a torment.

Well, I'll have to replay the first and the beginning of the second... I really wouldn't want to, and not so much because of the time, but rather because I don't like replaying the same thing, which is why I play on Veteran and not Hero, so that there isn't a situation where I lose so badly that I have to play again. When I already know everything, it becomes a bit unpleasant to replay, there's always a feeling of unfairness, even though I sometimes replay battles by loading from an autosave, otherwise I would sometimes just have to start over or there would be a terrible slowdown in development (for example, losing a hundred archers at the beginning).
And regarding saving, I don't understand which save file was corrupted, there are many of them, well, several, counting the autosaves, or is it the entire save system? I load different saves over several days, and it still crashes at that point. I hope there is still some way to revive my current campaign... oh well, otherwise I'll leave it for now and replay it in a few months.

And how do I reinstall it if the uninstall program doesn't launch? How do I uninstall it manually?
