It dealt a bit of a tough hand, and the roads were slow. But I managed to get going through the guild of rogues, gathered some crypts, dwarves, and was preparing to attack the birds when an opponent showed up and destroyed my hero. I wasn't upset; I attacked his heroes, bought a Toad through the tavern, and defeated Adele and two more of his heroes. The opponent couldn't handle it and surrendered.
