Today has been a very difficult day.

Yesterday, I arranged with the local priest to administer Holy Communion to my father on Friday. But today, my father's face turned purple in places, blue spots began to appear on his body, and he started choking while breathing. In short, everything was heading toward death. I sat my father up, connected a (compressor) inhaler with soda (there was nothing left to lose), called the priest and asked him to administer Communion today, and began massaging the areas where the spots appeared. Father Amvrosiy did not refuse and quickly prepared to come. There was no certainty that my father would survive until the priest's arrival. But then we began to pray that the Lord would allow Dad at least to receive Communion before death, and suddenly he began to recover—he turned pale, the spots started to fade, and his breathing returned. Moreover, he even spoke loudly during the day. This is the miracle the Lord showed us today. While reading prayers, my father had several seizures, during which his hands shook, he momentarily lost consciousness, and his eyes rolled back. But in the end, my father survived and is still alive. I hope the Lord allows my father to pass away peacefully without suffering or gives him the strength to overcome this illness. We believe, we hope, and we love...

Constant urges to have a bowel movement are tormenting my father (they twice refused to let them give him soda IVs today), plus his hands and legs are shaking. The condition is very grave.

He only takes liquids as food; unfortunately, he cannot swallow anything else. Therefore, we give him juices, water and medicines, and herbal decoctions. We haven't been able to restore digestion yet.
