Epic War Age (EWA) - Adapted Mod Collection

After playing on a map for an extended period (usually more than 10 months), the game starts crashing to the desktop frequently. This usually happens after an epic battle against the AI. Before this, the game runs perfectly. I have the latest version of EWA installed. Also, I have another question: in which compatibility mode should I run EWA? I used to run the original Heroes in XP SP2 compatibility mode. EWA complains about this compatibility mode (my system is Windows 7 x64).
