I'm certainly not a top-tier strategist (as it turns out), but it seems to me that for the tournament stage, a map should be chosen that allows a reasonably skilled player to create several different strategies within a reasonable timeframe, say, 20-30 hours of real time, using all possible tricks within the allowed limits... Either I'm missing something fundamental, or this map is a typical power-focused scenario that requires significant effort to optimize.
