Epic War Age (EWA) - Adapted Mod Collection

Will there be a new version? If so, is there an approximate release date? I don't need an exact date, just something to look forward to. Also, are there any major mods for spells? There are mods for heroes, creatures, and artifacts. I really enjoy playing as a mage, and I would like some variety.
