In short, we're still planning to go on the 11th. Because with each trip, money goes away very quickly, and there might not be enough left for treatment. It turns out that tomorrow is a shortened workday – we checked. And we'd like to manage everything in one day, get to all the appointments and have the necessary tests done. And even if they tell him to be hospitalized, the day after tomorrow is March 8th (a holiday), and then there are two more days off in a row. I hope that Dad will be okay until then – without any worsening.

Right now, we have about 8000 UAH (give or take). It's definitely not enough for treatment, but it should be enough for the trip and the tests. I don't know how much they charge. There are rumors (I don't know how true they are) that some people are given free chemotherapy before the elections (one of the presidential candidates brought in new equipment and chemotherapy). But this promotion is limited in time, and it's not clear if we'll be able to take advantage of it (there's a long queue, and it depends a lot on the type of cancer). I'm very worried that they will correctly determine the course of treatment, because I read reviews about this clinic – I'm even afraid to think about what might happen (incorrect treatment, mistakes during treatment, and chemotherapy when it's not needed, and just taking money).

If they say that urgent chemotherapy is needed, then we'll have to get in line and quickly raise money (there should be some time, but the queues are huge, and they schedule the day). But if it's immunotherapy, hormone therapy, or something else, it's not a given. But we'll still ask for time to raise money and try to collect it as soon as possible.

In addition, people advised us to go to the Donetsk Oncology Center of Akhmetov – it's one of the best. But firstly, it's far away, and secondly, the situation in the region is very difficult.

They also advised us to consult Professor Shkarupa G.B., a renowned thoracic surgeon (specializing in lung surgery). He supposedly provides consultations for free and doesn't just take money from people; he has received awards, and I haven't found anything bad about him online. But traveling there is expensive and takes a long time (a little longer than going to Zaporozhye). In moments like these, you start to regret not living in a big city. This is the fourth city hospital.

In the same city hospital in Dnipro, there is a department of oncology and chemotherapy. It conducts research in collaboration with the United States. So, if your diagnosis is suitable for new research and experimental drugs, treatment might be cheap or even free in some cases, but you have to agree to take on unproven risks. Just in case, I submitted an application there as well (if the situation gets worse).

I also started writing to members of parliament asking for help. This is unlikely to yield any results, but you have to grab onto everything you can. Maybe someone will offer some help before the elections.

Dad is feeling a little better now. He feels dizzy when he walks, but overall, he's in a more or less good mood, a little more active, and he has an appetite for the second day. There are no severe pains yet, but I'm still worried until treatment starts.

The American baking soda and some medications have arrived. But I'm not taking any risks using them yet – since there's a chance of treatment at the clinic. I don't want to do any harm, even though I believe they can help. I often read articles and books about cancer to calm myself down and gain a better understanding. Otherwise, everything is the same as before. In general, I'm looking for options for where and how to get treatment, money for treatment, and materials to understand the situation...
