Not a single Necromancer throughout the entire game, and I was playing as a one-sided faction. I started playing with only one day left for restarts against an opponent who had a full set of units. Valkyrie grabbed the Log first day, and stables were visible – I didn't risk restarting. On the second day, Thiaz appeared and quickly leveled up his Earth magic. But he didn't have enough money.
Seeing no prospects (neither Dwellings nor control), and looking at the opponent's stats, I decided not to waste any more time and surrendered – the post-game analysis showed that the opponent already had an expert Necromancer on day 111. It was uncounterable.
