In my opinion, the author seemed to run out of steam towards the end of the campaign and got tired – each subsequent one is easier than the previous, and then it's just not the same. The first two were challenging for me, and the final battles in the third and fourth were also difficult (I leveled up to 34, but there wasn't enough manpower). Now I'm beating the mages (I hate water because of the loss of a turn).
