if you want to treat a disease like cancer, you have to follow every step, like a protocol. and what you can't do is just as important as what you do
and the person himself has to want it - not for someone else
I would try to present him with the facts and then leave it up to him to decide whether he wants to take any steps or protocols or not
It's a matter of perspective, when someone wants to widely try to overcome/cure/reverse cancer or just extend life as long as possible. if someone wants to do the latter, then the traditional approach of an oncologist will suit him better.
