Sacred Haven of Debauchery

I remember once (about eight or nine years ago) losing a large post that I was writing on the forums because I closed the tab or the browser crashed. Since then, I periodically save text in Notepad, although, ironically, browsers have improved since then and now automatically save the content of closed pages, so the habit, while still present, is no longer as useful.
