If you want to talk in the language of statistics
2013 - 213 thousand units
2014 - 97
2015 - 46
2016 - 65 / 25 / 90
2017 - 82 / 73 / 155
2018 - 65 / 120 / 185
- okay, I didn't take "blokhers" into account. But firstly, in Russia, the number is still twice as high. And used cars are a different price range, which indicates low purchasing power of the population.
Moreover, your government, by solving the problem in this way for the coming years, has actually prepared a time bomb: the used cars from Europe now are not the same as 20 years ago - the new aluminum engines are "disposable." Soon, your secondary car market will collapse.
Another aspect: in Russia, the automotive industry is developing at a rapid pace. Simple assembly is a thing of the past; we are almost completing a full cycle and even starting to install our own automatic transmissions on foreign cars.
And you killed the Ukrainian automotive industry.
upd. Maybe I'm wrong, and "blokhers" don't belong to the used car market - they bought them in Europe, right?
