The pool of templates is actually quite adequate, especially for offline play. As practice has shown, playing only HotA maps is for hardcore players. And if hardcore players agree to play a map that isn't HotA, everything starts to go wrong. Seriously, there's only one debatable point, which is 6lm10a. There are issues that make this otherwise excellent map less enjoyable (blocked paths, one-way roads). There are also similar issues in HotA (strange teleports in rough terrain leading directly to the opponent). I would suggest that when playing on Cherke, for 6lm, we do that experiment – negotiate which version to use.
Kostya, negotiating which version to use is certainly interesting, but personally, I'm against it. And 6lm10a, after the fix with objects in the zone, has become even more playable, so it will be that map and specifically on HotA.
