Application for the CIS region.

Guys, you remind me of Kisa and Ostap Bender, who start a multi-million dollar venture and argue over 10 rubles. Doesn't each of you say that the CIS tournament is primarily about communication, and only then about the game? What difference does it make which version you play? A person came from outside the forum and offered you an option, and Frisha wants to take on organizing it (or at least that's how it seemed to me). Now everyone is jumping on him and arguing about the version. Anyone who wants can take on the organization, but no one wants to. I would come just to watch you and chat, but I don't have the opportunity this year. With all this talk, the CIS tournament risks not happening at all in any form. Or are those who don't want to come/can't come/or want to come but on certain (why?) conditions, trying to achieve this?

From my couch, it doesn't make much difference whether the CIS tournament happens or not. (I'm waiting for Merlin to comment that my opinion doesn't matter because I've never been to a CIS tournament.) However, I'm not ready to go to Tbilisi even for the SOD tournament, so I'm not expressing my opinion in the discussions and left my vote for the neutral last option in the poll.
By the way, I personally don't think that communication is the main thing in offline tournaments, and then the game. Regardless of the upcoming CIS tournament, I'm not ready to go to an event if I'm not going to play. I understand that avid poker players and professional five-player players have something to do at the tournament regardless of the version of the game, but if you only play one of the versions (in our case, this is SOD or HOTA) and are not ready to participate in poker gambling, then if your version and the tournament version don't match, it won't be very fun. No, the events themselves are quite fun. No, I don't think we have a boring gathering. But as I've noticed, the main entertainment is poker, and some people seem to consider this an analogue of communication. Let it be. But still, a Heroes tournament is primarily about Heroes.
All of the above is just a digression on the topic of "what is more important at a Heroes tournament: the game or something else." I believe it's the game. In reality, in the absence of alternatives, Frisha can hold a tournament on any platform, whether it's VoG, WoG, or even have everyone play checkers. Those who like HOTA or don't care about the version can go. But saying that this will suit everyone is not worth it. It won't suit everyone.
