Which level 1 monster do you like the most in Heroes of Might and Magic V?

If you compare them based on stats, skeletons are weak, but that's why they made necromancy so you can have a lot of them. There are few Assassins, but their stats are good. So, arguing about who is better...
Personally, I like Assassins, but not because of their stats (like most people), but purely for their appearance; I think they should look like that, or something similar. I also like Goblins; they look good, have suitable abilities, and, most importantly, their abilities aren't absurd. And the dwarven defenders are good too.
Of the new upgrades, I like the skeletons (they look very good), scouts, and dwarves (they don't differ much from the old ones, I think).
