So, regarding my reaction to the obvious and repeated provocation from Peterius – well, this is my reaction. When some unknown person starts poking me about something I have absolutely nothing to do with (and the moderation is inactive at that moment – this isn't a discussion about moderators, but a statement of fact), I can't stay silent.
As for the pseudo-historical and pseudo-linguistic discussions – I must say, besides personal interpretations, there are specific historical documents and authoritative sources of information recognized by the global scientific community.
And mentioning how in the USSR, modern Russia, and modern Ukraine (both of which are direct successors to the USSR in terms of twisting the truth) rewrite school and other textbooks – is almost unnecessary.
Regarding the word "characters" – it generally referred to a forum user who is well-known for repeatedly posting political content in topics that have nothing to do with politics. And my response to the provocateur can probably be interpreted as inciting – a specific… outburst… (and it's very strange that someone else got upset), so if any points were actually awarded, I'm all for it, but I would like it to be a consistent action, and then order will be restored in all topics (and not selectively and "according to someone's opinion").
As for the flame in the messages and awarding points specifically for flame – I would recommend that those awarding points start with themselves and analyze all their messages in all forum topics – that is, along with awarding points to someone else for flame, they should also award them to themselves. And in general, regarding flame – in my opinion, on the forum, points could be awarded to about half of the active users on this basis.
