For the first time in my 250+ games on ХВ over such a huge period (144), not a single hero out of all the ones I leveled up got earth magic. I tried a bunch of mages and a high-level Gunnar - 0. In the end, I couldn't use Town Portal for its intended purpose, couldn't defend the tower from the opponent despite having Imp-losion and Resurrection. If any mage or Gunnar had had earth magic, the game would have ended as early as the third week.
