Walkthroughs for custom maps.

This is more of a technical question: are there any effective ways to get a stuck generation process moving again? For example, I need to generate a week of a specific creature or catch a specific hero with a specific army in the tavern, but in 99% of cases, when the day transitions, only one generation occurs (disabling HD+, SoD_SP, and launching the game without HD-Mod doesn't help). I even downloaded SoD separately from the existing Complete edition, launched the save in it and in Era, and I can get the first unique day transition to work, but after that, the same sad week of a groundhog keeps appearing.

And does anyone know about any programs for generating a starting save file?
