- No problem, we won't need any towers with smoke signals. Your village is quite small; you can throw a stone from one end to the other, but we need to place a couple of people, maybe three, about a hundred or two hundred meters away, and set up some traps to hear or see them coming in time. And there's nothing complicated about being on duty: if you see a monster, you run away and shout, and we'll meet it, even Lec could do it. I just don't want to start screaming here, in the village, and see it manage to kill a couple of people before we can stop it, you know what I mean, brother? Who needs that? So, where are the most accessible spots here, and also, where did these bastards used to come from to raid you? I can place one or two of my guys there, plus you, plus... well, we can't really entrust this to Lec, and we'll rule out the women and the old men, so who's left? There was a redhead guy here, he seemed responsible. I think we can cover the area well. It's only a couple of minutes' walk. How are you with a bow? And what about the other men?
Vihl did everything he could – not the best defense against a potential attack, but quite competent given the circumstances the hunter faced. The capable villagers also helped with the defense and kept a watchful eye, looking for anything suspicious. But a day passed, and no one appeared. Something strange happened closer to the next evening: the stretched rope with animal bones, located near the southern entrance, began to rustle. The villagers started to get nervous and waited to see what would happen.

House of Swords.
In the "House of Swords," Mirnu was greeted by a large and luxurious hall, from which one could enter one of the inner rooms, presumably the schools of martial arts. In the hall, one could read (very) brief information about each of them.
