As far as I briefly saw, there is Godric in the 6th campaign. He is a secondary hero, but he will fight, and I didn't level him up as a main hero.

Well, generally, the campaign is for Zephyr, so it's better to level up his magical skills, or at least Banish, then the last battle will be easy. But in general, it's desirable to level up everyone - Godric, Faidaen, Zephyr, Railag, they will all participate in the final, but the final battle is quite easy compared to the battle with Markel or the campaigns for Faidaen.
