The stranger was dressed very modestly, and therefore the scabbard on his belt stood out sharply. It was black and red with gold stripes, and judging by the material it was made of and the quality of workmanship, it was very expensive. The weapon itself, as Ahelsiy could guess, was a curved one-and-a-half sword – not something you see often in the Kingdoms.

Ahelsiy had not planned to tie himself to any company, but out of politeness he agreed to the stranger's offer. Unfortunately, he was not very knowledgeable about weapons, and he thought it would be impolite to ask questions, although he noted the striking difference between the weapon and the stranger's overall appearance.
—It is truly very beautiful and peaceful here, he remarked aloud. —It's a pity that many ordinary people are deprived of any opportunity to visit such places. Perhaps this would help them get used to cultural recreation and improve their mental well-being.
