The elaborate dishes looked quite tempting – Abigail didn't often get to eat good food, and she had never even tasted Donar cuisine before. However, such a meal (dinner?) cost as much as renting a room, including meals, for two and a half days. Besides, simple food was what she was used to – whether at home or at work, there weren't many opportunities to try rare and exquisite dishes. So, no matter how much Abigail wanted to try the more expensive food, she put it off until later, when her purse was a dozen or so gold pieces heavier.
Ordering one of the "simple" soups and a glass of water, the warrior sat down at one of the free tables and, while waiting for her order, returned to reading the book she had bought earlier.
