As Abigail read the book, she couldn't help but think that many of her acquaintances often gave similar descriptions of the Donarians, portraying them as barbarians who could only communicate through force. The only difference was that while the latter were described as "mere" dirty savages, the description of the Ashiites evoked images of monsters. The warrior couldn't say how accurate and truthful this information was, but some of the moments described by Elsor coincided with the fragmented information she had heard before. So, she was more inclined to believe the content than not. The description of both the philosophy of Magjin and the monstrous abilities of the Ashiites made the girl thank herself once again for deciding to leave the army. There was no doubt that she would have been sent to fight against the eastern barbarians. And, who knows, maybe the situation would have turned out such that she would have ended up as their prisoner? Of course, Abigail had no doubt that, with her abilities, she could have achieved a certain status among the followers of Magjin, but such a prospect still did not please her. Further thoughts on the Ashiites, however, were interrupted by the realization that she had been reading the book without leaving the store. This was certainly flattering to the author, but it also looked equally strange to the other visitors of his shop. Putting the book in her travel bag, Abigail decided to postpone further immersion in Ashiite culture until later, when she rented a room in the "Dragon's Tear," and headed to the next item on her list – "Horn of Plenty."
