Epic War Age (EWA) - Adapted Mod Collection

Good day, and happy new year to everyone. Could you please tell me if this modpack fixes the game's performance on newer hardware? I've been searching on Google for two days and haven't found any mention of a fix, only complaints. I have Windows 10, a GTX 1080, an i7-7700k, DDR4-2666, and a 4K monitor, and the game gives me 20 FPS on the battlefield, and when I zoom the camera out in the world map, it drops to as low as 6 FPS. It's unplayable. I've tried three versions, from GOG and two repacks.
