Consequently, he emerged earlier, collected hives, and gained stats. By the time my opponent reached the center, the Miner had already consumed everything and was sitting with 70+ ducks in the central town.

From the start, I spotted an air book under the castle for 50 gold, along with 2 cons, plus 2 more a bit further down the road. On day 123, I took 2 level 1 cons, but underestimated the road to the Guardian of the Grove. It was very long. There was no vision of air units, and earth magic didn't come online quickly. As a result, when I finally reached the Guardian of the Grove and emerged, I realized there was nothing left to gain in the center.
