I don't understand why there's an equation being made between the group of people who "don't see anything wrong with politely asking to be registered for a tournament," "the Soviets," and then equating them with "slaves." This is some kind of twisted logic. The hatred for the past is noticeable, and I understand it, although I don't agree with it, and I won't argue. After all, freedom of opinion has existed for a long time. But to divide everyone based on some arbitrary criteria and label them, especially with a clearly offensive message... That's not very good.
And I repeat, the wording for registering for the tournament can be changed in any way. This should put an end to the discussion.

The very fact that a fierce struggle has broken out for the right to ask, with all sorts of justifications, is a legacy (as a consequence) of the chain: slavery - serfdom - the Soviet Union. Neither with the advent nor the collapse of the USSR has anything changed in the thinking of the descendants. The habit of asking for something that one shouldn't ask for has become ingrained in the consciousness.
