I never liked plain dough. It was easier to just not eat and have lunch at home in two hours than to jostle with the crowd for it.
I used to do the same.
I just lived three minutes from school. And as for baked goods, I only had a piece of dough with poppy seeds and occasionally a piece of dough with sugar. Sometimes - stale, slimy things in dough. In general, I didn't want to spend the whole break on that.
I lived a bit further from home, so I could manage without lunch until the end of the school day. The reasons are about the same as Lokken's.
