It's very strange to read all this, as if "asking" is a synonym for "begging." There is nothing degrading in a request itself, and in the context of tournaments, it is simply a polite way of addressing the organizer.
Predictable conservative reaction. Question to the developer: is it possible to individually leave the "ask" button as an option? For those who inherently understand the meaning of the word and its interpretation, and simply for "polite" people.
Of course, it's a joke. But such indignation should have a basis. There is no basis in the request itself, only excuses.
