In Odessa, a citizen proved in court that his name is Huy

The Kyiv District Court of Odessa granted the claim of a citizen of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vu Ngoc Huy, who demanded that his name be correctly indicated in Ukrainian in the diploma of the Odessa National Polytechnic University.

In the Vietnamese passport, the man is listed as Vu Ngoc Huy, which in the Ukrainian version for residence was transliterated as Vu Ngok Khuy. At the same time, he was enrolled in the university with a visa to enter Ukraine, where the name was recorded with an error - Khyu. Subsequently, this version also appeared in the diploma.
