I ran to get the 3rd-level creature, taking it with mass haste. I returned and was a little late to catch up with the opponent's caravan in the town, pursuing him, hoping for an advantage in mana. The opponent got some ducks there, and beholders from the artifact - it started to get scary, but in the end, Aislinn was out of mana and had -3 morale. It didn't reach the final stage.
