Final Battle - 12

I expanded more aggressively and maintained an advantage (6 cities against 3 on 117) up until the middle of the second week. But aggressive expansion has its costs. I upgraded my TP 2 days later than Ilya, and most importantly, I chose the most unfortunate directions and zones for pushing. Somehow everything went sideways throughout the game. For example, I specifically built up the Coronius-Jeddith link to counter his father, but they gave me resurrect in the Mage Guild almost immediately. "Where are you, Morpheus, when you're needed so much???" (c) In the end, Ilya took key Dragon Utopias for air control and stats from two sides, and I surrendered. Thanks for the game!
