Absolutely, because the ranking is subjective. But that's if we're talking about player rankings and separating it from the Canigam Tournament. If we use the formula for the Canigam Tournament only, then it could be 50/50. But if we apply this formula to the ranking of players across all Tournaments on the resource, and there's no other choice, then at least 60/40 or 70/30. In short, the closer to 100%, the better – but it's not up to me to decide. :)
Essentially, if you're evaluating each Tournament individually, the method of assigning ratings still matters. Players will find their place regardless. The problem arises when you consider multiple Tournaments, as it can lead to confusion (the system is designed for a single Tournament), and you just stand by and watch the chaos unfold.

I'm to blame for everyone calling the system for calculating points in a Tournament to determine the winners a "ranking," and it's still unclear who confused whom and is continuing to confuse. :)
Explain the essence of the first one, i.e., the system for calculating points in a Tournament to determine the winners. I couldn't find it in the topic you mentioned so many times.
