The chances are slim right now. To make such a decision, I would need to find a group of strong players who are actually going to participate in the tournament, talk to them, and they need to seriously consider it and say something meaningful. Based on the conversations in this thread with the five people who dropped by, or based on our ideas about balance with Korovka (and even with Kaliban :smile41: ), such a change will not be made. :D
And we shouldn't forget that balance, besides being a difficult-to-grasp concept, is secondary in Favorites. Even I, for example, choose not only a town for this tournament, but specifically my favorite hero as a starter, with whom I have some kind of connection, and this is not necessarily the best starter even in that town. And those who blow even this chance to have fun for the sake of "victories" are only punishing themselves – depriving themselves of simple joys in life.
The ideal victory in this tournament is not picking Nekron and steamrolling through the bracket with a tank.
Everyone will forget about the Necromancer's victory even before it happens. But FTS winning with Anya is a story, it's a success.

You can change the town before the registration closes (by editing your post with the tournament application).
There is no such prohibition written or implied anywhere.

And in general, as far as I'm concerned, 80% of what's happening in this thread is, as the classic said, "the air of freedom has tickled their behinds." But there is already some concrete benefit.
This is simply my approach – it's better to have many discussions, including those that lead nowhere, and including those that will actually be useful in this tournament, than to have no discussions at all or to have them suppressed in the style of "if you don't like it, do it yourself." I'm not criticizing other approaches now, I'm just explaining what's happening here. If an idea is interesting, it's just an interesting idea in itself; it still needs to be argued and studied before it is applied. And with the argumentation, as a rule, there are big difficulties.
