1) Yes, there is something like that in the Russian super-pack. I was initially scared, but then I found the file MINEEVNT.txt, which simply contained this text, no one knows how it got there. This is at the very beginning:

2) Instead of using a cheat code to see where which spells will appear in the mage guilds, etc., use Prospector. This is undetectable (and permissible if playing in single-player mode), but in any case, before entering a cheat code, it is worth saving the game, and then exiting and re-entering.
