Pillowtalking with a girl once, she said, 'I feel really safe with you' and snuggled into me. It made me feel alpha as fuck and warm and fuzzy.

When I first read this phrase a week ago, quickly and without much interest, skimming through it on a small phone screen while distracted by other things, I interpreted it as the person talking to an anime pillow. I liked that version better.
