For my hero, I developed Education (it was already there) with Mentoring, Ballistics with a Tent, Attack, Logistics (starting bonus), Sorcery, and Darkness.
I dealt with the Orcs in 3.5 months; it could have been faster, but I didn't replay some situations. The tactic is simple: develop yourself and train your partners. Sending in weak units helps a lot, and luckily, they reappear in the tavern. The battle tactic in the city is based on neutralizing the catapult, archers, or goblins, and then all the others.
They attack the Djinns first; I raise them, they kill, and so on, until my main forces defeat them. In general, it's all about the Barbarian faction!
Getting the portal to the city made things easier, and then the helpers started to manage on their own.
In the second stage, a Dark Elf named "Lexus" arrived with a crazy army, but he played so badly that he didn't attack anyone, gave away the castles, and all his friends. I didn't know how to defeat him, but the author took care of that when transitioning to the third part.
The final battles didn't cause any difficulties, as I had Darkness attributes.
But there is still a bug. One of the companions (in a blue robe) remained alive. He was in the Dungeon outside the city with an army of Dark Elves. After 2 weeks, everything they had taken was restored. The hero started receiving unlimited resources.
Overall, I have very positive impressions of the map; great respect to the author!
