Let's get acquainted!

I've never posted in this thread before, but since the conversation has started... let's get to know each other after 10 years on the forum. My name is Nikolai. The age in my profile is correct, meaning I'm old enough that I won't be joining the "Club 27." I live in Kyiv, but I'm originally from Komsomolsk-on-Amur – yes, the same place as Neyra. I studied biochemistry at university and completed postgraduate studies, but now I'm not a candidate of sciences, but a former postgraduate student. I don't want to defend my dissertation, and they probably wouldn't let me anyway. Currently, I work as an SEO specialist (I promote websites). I don't read very much, mostly science fiction and some classics. My favorite authors are the Strugatsky brothers and Philip K. Dick. Music... oh, I've listened to so many different genres. Right now, my preferences are roughly: blues (both old-school and modern) and blues-rock, traditional Irish folk in a modern arrangement, rockabilly/psychobilly, and I've returned to my old passion for progressive metal. I graduated from music school with a degree in bayan (a type of button accordion), but I rarely play it now, although I used to play in a band. I'm self-taught on guitar and harmonica. I do Scottish dancing and used to do Irish dancing. I watch movies and TV shows very rarely, mostly only when I'm with company. But I often watch streams and all sorts of gaming/music-related stuff on YouTube. I mainly play online games now – Hearthstone, Shadowverse, World of Warships, Overwatch. From single-player games, my favorites are the Witcher series and the first two Gothic games. I don't smoke, but I like to drink various things. That's about it.
