Why didn't half of you read the thread where the rating was discussed? By reading this thread, you will understand a lot. And half of the questions will disappear on their own.
Regarding the topic: Considering the specifics of the game, I think it would be more correct to take into account both days (experience, skeletons, etc.) and position in the rating!
The ratio between them should be exactly 50/50, i.e., an oscillator is the most optimal thing.
But at the same time, Fireball suggested a good idea: to make the position component non-linear (in the oscillator, it is linear and directly depends on the number of participants). This topic should be continued and developed...
Sincerely, chmo.
P.S. By the way, it's strange why neither AmberSoler, nor Fireball, nor AlexeyPunk, nor Kule have replied here?
P.S.S. By the way, I want to predict the further development of events:
1) You argue
2) You argue heatedly
3) You swear
4) Moderators delete the swearing and urge not to "attack each other personally"
5) everyone calms down for a while
6) Then someone asks one question about the rating, and they get an answer
7) then point #1
(this sequence is very clearly seen in the rating thread)
That is why I suggest not engaging in demagoguery here, but let someone authoritative, for example, VDV, choose one of the systems and that's it.
There are some issues that cannot be resolved together. There must be someone who makes a firm decision and chooses one of the options, and then everything goes according to plan... otherwise it turns out like in the fable "The Swan, the Crab, and the Pike"
