What is the purpose of this thread? Hasn't there been a heated debate on the Heroes forums for a while, so is it necessary to artificially ignite one? ...

I'll immediately suggest the following topic: Whose Crimea is it?

If you look closely at the messages, you can see where they were moved from. No one artificially "ignited" it here; the flame started elsewhere and was moved here to avoid cluttering the thread created for a useful purpose – bug reports for the HD mod and improving this HD mod.
This thread was created specifically for this purpose – to have a place to further discuss what people really want to discuss, but the discussion is no longer relevant to the original thread where it all started. And at the same time, not to overload existing useful threads with a specific (different) purpose.

You could have been more careful with the politics (this is what I marked as off-topic). This is a forum about Heroes, not about everything in the world.
Well, since being careful didn't work out, let's assume for now that it's not allowed to delve into politics at all.
