To answer this question with certainty, you need to understand which zone the objects belong to: a pile of stones and an amulet against blindness. If everything is clear with the pile of gems – it clearly won't appear in a treasure zone, then option 1 falls away. I wonder how many elementals guard the major artifact? :confused: Honestly, I don’t remember if a value of 10k on a creature can appear outside of a treasure zone. Let the CM experts advise. In any case, I wouldn’t give those losses in such an ambiguous situation and would interpret it again in favor of the player.
