1) The main point of what I wrote is that it's best to save the game and contact the judge immediately upon discovering a controversial situation, rather than continuing to play. Do you have anything relevant to say about the main idea?
2) Regarding the fact that the Arbitration Committee (AK) isn't publishing anything. I personally wrote to the AK once in the last year, and it was regarding a rules question, and I received a clear answer from Mizrael that explained everything. There wasn't much point in publishing it. And it was because of this incident, and my own mistake, that I came to the conclusion that it's better to save the game during a match and ask about the rules.
Toganyash recently wrote and also received an answer, as a result of which Dave changed his decision regarding his match.
3) Here, you need to read carefully and think about it.
In order not to be perceived as whining, when there is such an opportunity, you should contact the AK not with a request to issue a technical defeat to the opponent (as Timbuktu does here, and as you did with Jelen), but with a question about the rules (as YaR did immediately after you, for example).
4) And when this is elevated to a principle, and a player builds their strategy on the game so that the opponent (including on the timer) violates the rules, and then a technical defeat is issued for this, I consider this to be unsportsmanlike behavior, and I will probably annoy people with my posts who defend this approach again and again. To avoid annoyance, don't get annoyed unnecessarily. Play fairly, communicate openly with your opponent, and beat them in the game, not in off-game factors.
