The person chosen by Ravella stepped into a circle drawn with something white and knelt down, after which she approached him and, with a light movement of her sharp claw, cut open the veins on one of her wrists. Blood flowed down, and the soldier standing in the circle began to greedily drink it. The boundaries of the circle glowed with a dark red flame, the soldier fell to the floor and began to writhe in pain, and horns slowly began to appear on his head.
