I don't like the race selection system for the game, with these "overplayed" races. For example, if a player like Will plays with Demons and Orcs, it will be difficult for him to find an opponent for a dungeon or Necropolis, especially with open data. It would be better to have a completely random selection of races for each turn, without considering the overplayed races.
This is unacceptable for our tournament. This would result in some kind of "cast" of good and evil, with most games being mages and elves against orcs and demons. But we have a serious tournament here, where the true strength of each Faction is shown, where the strongest dark and light factions are determined, and then there will be a final battle, with all the best forces of good and evil involved. Besides, there was originally an option to use 2 sets of 4 races for each side, meaning that if you are light, you choose from 8 of your races (2 sets of 4 light races) and from a similar set of dark races. First, I doubt that Will will have a better chance against Orcs and Demons. Second, the faster you agree on a match, the better for you (this is a bonus for quick players). And third, nothing prevents you from playing with the weaker good races in your opinion against other players and then playing with Will, using your strongest good race.
