There are 2 days left until the start of the tournament!
Currently, there are 20 people in the tournament. The format of scheduling the tournament with games played over 1-2 days on the weekend is not feasible. The option of having each player play a game every day may not suit everyone.
The following options are emerging:
1. One game per day. In case of scheduling conflicts, the next 3 days will be used for make-up games. This option is not ideal.
2. We give 3 days for each game (+1 day for make-up games).
3. 1 game per week (+3 days for make-up games).

Also, one of the following formats seems suitable:
1) Full double elimination - relatively quick and not too stressful in each round (the most familiar option).
2) Division into groups of 10 players. 1-2 weeks for each player to play against each other in the group stage. Active players can quickly play against everyone; those who don't manage to do so in time simply won't have enough time to score points (unless they show up for make-up games). The top 8 teams advance (4 best in each subgroup). In the playoffs, 3 days are given for each game (+ make-up games). This format allows for more flexible scheduling - from one game on a given day to all games of the subgroup in one day.
3) Division into groups of 10 with 4 players advancing. And a new group of 8 players - each plays against each other over 2 weeks.
4) Everyone in one group and 4 weeks for all games. With a minimum of 5 games per week.
5) Swiss system and playoffs.

The arena is undergoing final testing before the tournament. I will adjust the rules, description of the arena, and prepare the intro videos. I will most likely conduct the draw on the 21st.
